Abstract

The main goal of this research is to evaluate the effects of absorptive capacity on the change of internet business model with the mediating role of intrinsic and disruptive innovations. The research method is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive survey in terms of method. The data collection method in this research is field and library type. In order to collect information in this research from the standard questionnaires of Reinhardt and Gartner, 2014; Wanga et al., 2020; Benzidia et al., 2021 has been used considering the dimensions of the subject under study, which has the required validity and reliability. For the validity of the questionnaires in connection with its application in the tests, according to expert professors, as well as confirmatory factor analysis was used for construct validity, and Cronbach's alpha method and composite reliability were used for its reliability. The statistical population of this research is the managers and senior experts of selected internet startups in the country. Non-random judgmental sampling method was used for sampling in this research. Cochran's formula for an unlimited population is used to determine the sample size. Therefore, due to the unlimited population, 384 people have been considered as a sample size. SPSS and SMART PLS software were used to check and test the hypotheses. The research results show that absorptive capacity has an effect on intrinsic innovation. Absorptive capacity affects disruptive innovation. Intrinsic innovation affects business model change. Disruptive innovation affects business model change.
